Real Forio had a good test against Equipe Campania. Sanchez: "A good performance."

A positive first test for Real Forio 2014. After two home games in recent weeks, the green-and-white team won 3-0 over Equipe Campania – Mugnano. Equipe is a well-established organization now in its sixteenth consecutive year (promoted by AIC Amateur Department coordinator Antonio Trovato with the patronage of the Italian Footballers' Association), allowing free players to complete pre-season training before joining a team. At the "Vallefuoco" stadium in Mugnano, where Equipe trains, the match begins a few minutes earlier than the scheduled 11:00 kick-off. Real Forio 2014, watched by president Luigi Amato, initially lined up with the youth Delizia in goal, a back four composed, from right to left, of Florio, Mattera, Di Costanzo, and captain Pistola.

Arcamone and Tarascio move in midfield in front of the defense, with junior Iaccarino and Yeboah on the outside flanks, along with Di Lorenzo, supporting central striker Emanuele Serrano. The match, refereed by Stefano Sica, consists of two fifty-minute halves, with a cooling-off period after the twenty-fifth minute of each half. L'Equipe (which began preparations in the first half of July) is doing its utmost, trying to keep up with the team from the island.

At the start of the match, Iaccarino, born in 2006, was the one who threatened on more than one occasion: the green-and-white youth player first tested the opposing goalkeeper with a shot from outside the area, then, shortly after the twentieth minute, he entered the area from a tight angle and shot, once again finding a prompt response from the Equipe Campania number one.

The score was broken around the 30th minute when the green-and-whites' pressure on the opposition's possession just outside the home penalty area sent the Equipe defense reeling, with Arcamone quickest to capitalize. "Kikko"'s shot left the opposition goalkeeper with no chance. Not content with their lead, the islanders continued to threaten, but Di Lorenzo's shot from outside the area crashed against the crossbar.

The home team's response came with a fine move down the left flank, culminating in a vicious shot, but Delizia was ready to save it. Before the end of the first half, Real Forio 2014 found the net to double their lead: Yeboah, served in depth, connected to the ball and was brought down in the penalty area, already alone in front of the goalkeeper. Emanuele Serrano finished on the scoresheet from eleven meters, confirming his cool from eleven meters (as he had done in his first home match).

During halftime, the two coaches changed their lineups to ensure all the players called up had adequate playing time. Initially, Coach Sanchez lined up Mazzella in goal with D'Alessandro as a left-back, Velotti alongside Mattera, and Florio on the right. In midfield, Arrulo was given space alongside Simone Di Meglio and Pelliccia, while up front, Santiago was supported by Yeboah and Buono.

As the match progressed, however, as anticipated, all the players called up were given their dues: the first to come on, a few minutes after the second half, were Carofilo (playing as a left winger with D'Alessandro moved to the other lane) and Peluso (who would limp back to the island after receiving a knock). The islanders had various chances and maneuvers, with Simone Di Meglio hitting the crossbar again, before Nicola Buono made it three. The Under 2006 player timely completed a fine move, making sure to deflect the ball home. L'Equipe also hit the crossbar during the second half with a long-range shot.

Real Forio 2014 has had a positive test, with the integration process of new players proceeding smoothly. On Saturday, Carlo Sanchez's team will play another friendly against Savoia. Next week (Wednesday the 27th) will see their first official match in the regional Coppa Italia, pitting the Isolani against Sibilla Bacoli.
